Frozen Lakes
We live in West Michigan, so of course we love our Lake Michigan – even in the winter. Currently, the lake is pretty frozen; so much so you cannot tell where the ice meets the sky. It is very beautiful (but please be careful – it is also dangerous!), but despite the cold and snow, we have to say that a frozen Lake Michigan is one of our favorite things. The real life Minna agrees, too. She is a true adventurer and Michigander at heart!
Acai Bowls
Nothing tastes better in winter than a delicious Acai bowl! We particularly love our local store, Fruition (Grandville and Grand Rapids). They really stuff the bowls full of fresh fruit, acai, and your favorite toppings!

Does this one even need an explanation?! Elmer looks adorable and classy as ever, ready to find his furrevor Valentine! Find one for your dog here!
Fun Snail Mail
This is our favorite card! Cards like this make us laugh out loud, and having dogs, we know that this is truly how they feel sometimes when we come home. Also a great reminder during the winter how fun it is to receive snail mail. Here are some fun dog cards to send to friends and family and brighten their day!
