Today is Veteran’s Day and it is right and appropriate that we as a nation and as individuals pay tribute to the men and women who so honorably served our country.  Mere words don’t seem adequate to express the thanks our veterans deserve but I will share some quotes that I have found inspirational.  It is my hope that they will in some small measure convey a portrait of the veteran who has defended and protected the rights we all have and the freedoms we all cherish.

Eternal Vigilance is the price of liberty.  Thomas Jefferson

The American Veteran represents the best of humanity.  Their unselfish service to their country can never be repaid.  We owe them our freedom because it was not free.  Thank you for your sacrifice, your vigilance, and your willingness to give your life so that America is still the last best hope on earth.
